Nana & Papa's Visit.

In no particular order...

Going into the Botanical Gardens (in lieu of the zoo, which was crazy crowded due to spring break)

We spent most of the time following Hueston's lead.

Playing in the backyard.

Hueston loves cameras. I love the picture-in-picture thing we've got going on here.

Hueston did NOT want to pose - he wanted to RUN.

Walking up steps with Papa

Getting wet with Nana

Tuckered out on the way home from the Botanical Gardens

Waving to the friendly men who took away our lawn bags

Helping Papa play his trumpet
And here's a trumpet video.

Riding in the car with Mama as chauffeur

Reading books with Nana

David pacing, going over his sermon while the rest of us play in the backyard

Papa's insulin pump is FASCINATING.

Learning to brush hair

Watching Papa work on the computer

Morning playtime with Nana

Enjoying spaghetti

Coloring - this was a collaborative effort

We also ate fried chicken at Babe's, built block towers, took walks, played Scrabble, read books, practiced letters, sang songs, and generally had a good time.
It was a really fun visit - and we hope Nana and Papa will come back soon!

  1. Looks like a really fun week! Your botanical gardens look lovely, too. I also love to see how red Hueston's hair looks in some of these. I want it!
