My Birthday.

(The following is a guest post from Hueston.)

June 24 was a very important day.

Mama and Dada say that last year, June 24 was good, too, but I don't remember much.

This year, Mama and I went to San Antonio with Aunt Connie on my actual birthday. We rode in the car for a long time. We saw Aunt Kris and Aunt Susie. They aren't really my aunts, but Mama says they're like sisters, so that makes them honorary aunts. Then we stayed in a hotel. Then we rode in the car again, all the way home, and I saw Dada.

Here is a picture of me with my Dada and Mama. I like them a lot.

When it's your birthday, you get to have fun. Sometimes people give you presents.

Mama says that she and Dada got me a swimming pool, but it has been raining a lot, so I have not gone swimming in it yet.

After that, Mama made me a cake. It had one candle on it. Dada and Mama sang to me. Then Mama blew out the candle.

I like having a birthday. I think that next year I will have another one.

  1. Hooray! Happy B-day, Hue-man!

Wish we could have been there...

  2. Nana and Papa howled with laughter! At least he doesn't have a sweet tooth...or I guess it is slimy things he doesn't care for. Love all the toys; can't wait to play! Happy Day, Hueston!

  3. Yay! I love this. His face was hilarious when presented with his cake. Was that a mix of curiosity and disgust? Next year he'll probably be diving for it. Happy B-day Hueston! We love ya.
